8. Revascularisation strategy in ACS

Deferred vs conventional stent implantation in STEMI patients

DANAMI-3-DEFER 10 years
Objective
to compare 10-year outcomes of deferred (>24 h) versus immediate stent implantation during primary PCI in patients with STEMI
Study
prospective, multicentre, open-label, randomised controlled trial
Population
patients with ST-segmentelevation myocardial infarction and acute chest pain <12 hours
Endpoints
composite of all-cause mortality or hospitalisation for heart failure at 10 years
DANAMI-3-DEFER 10 years
DANAMI-3-DEFER 10 years
Conclusion
